There were three categories for this first competition. They were open to everyone, using all types of equipment, from SLRs to mobiles. The overall aim was to celebrate the natural history of North Sutherland and Caithness.

A special young winner’s prize was awarded to ‘Moss in Miniature’ by Connie Gordon.
The Awards ceremony was held at The Kyle Centre in Tongue.
