What’s the event about?
As part of our programme to increase the flowering plants at the Farr Glebe we will be undertaking seed collecting on site during August and September.
Everyone is welcome to come and help collect the seed. And if you would also like to grow some of the seed into plants for your own garden as well as replanting back at the Glebe then please let us know.
First thing though is to collect the seed, and for that, the seed will need to be ripe and the weather dry. Therefore, the date of the seed collection will be at short notice depending on the weather forecast. Keep an eye out for the announcement on the Facebook group page.
We’d love to see you at the Glebe to help collect seed, and as the weather should be nice on the day, also have a look to see what bees and other insects are flying.
